About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong experience in React Native and React to join a fast-moving, product-focused team building and scaling a multi-platform booking experience. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll work across mobile apps (iOS and Android) and web platforms, owning features end-to-end and contributing to key architectural decisions. You’ll operate in a highly independent environment, helping improve performance, stability, and user experience across booking flows, payments, and customer interactions. You’ll work closely with operations and customer support teams to solve real user problems, making a direct impact on the product and overall customer journey. Responsibilities Build, maintain, and ship new features across mobile applications using React Native (iOS and Android) Develop and enhance web applications using React, including booking flows, account areas, and payment integrations Integrate and optimise payment systems (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay, card payments, and alternative payment methods) Maintain and evolve existing web platforms and associated services Collaborate on API design and system architecture to support scalability and performance Improve platform stability, performance, and observability across mobile and web applications Work closely with customer support and operations teams to identify and resolve real user issues (e.g. bookings, cancellations, refunds, communications) Ensure compliance with App Store and Play Store requirements, including SDK updates and platform policies Conduct code reviews, implement testing best practices, and maintain clear, useful documentation Take ownership of features and contribute to continuous product and engineering improvements Requirements 5+ years of experience in full stack or frontend-focused development Strong experience with React Native for mobile application development (3+ years) Strong experience with React for web applications (3+ years) Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript Hands-on experience with payment integrations and checkout flows Experience integrating and working with APIs in production environments Ability to work independently and take ownership of features and systems Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, product-focused mindset Experience contributing to architectural decisions and scalable system design Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Nice to Have Experience working with mapping or geolocation APIs Experience in booking, travel, or marketplace platforms Familiarity with mobile app release processes and platform requirements (iOS/Android) Experience improving performance and observability in production systems Benefits Fixed Shifts: 12:00 PM - 9:30 PM IST (Summer) | 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM IST (Winter) 5-Day AI Training: Hands-on AI Academy onboarding to get you building with AI from day one No Weekend Work: Real work-life balance, not just words Day 1 Benefits: Laptop and full medical insurance provided Support That Matters: Mentorship, community, and forums where ideas are shared True Belonging: A long-term career where your contributions are valued Originally posted on Himalayas
