From the client: We are developing a mobile application that transforms advanced STEM education into an engaging, accessible, and motivating experience. Rather than serving as a basic content delivery tool, the product combines structured learning paths, progression systems, interactive problem-solving, and a strong sense of personality. All of this is delivered through a polished, gamified mobile UX designed primarily for teens and young adults. Involvement: 25h/week Project type: Part-time Duration: 3–4 months Client timezone: (GMT -8:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada) Overlap: 3 hours This position is for U.S.-based candidates, but we also have other positions for Senior Software Engineers from 75+ countries. Requirements: 4+ years of software development experience 5+ years of experience with Flutter Experience shipping iOS and Android apps Experience with Firebase is a must Strong understanding of app architecture, state management, performance, and backend integration Ability to work through ambiguity and translate product ideas into real features Interest in polished consumer products, interactive learning, or STEM-related applications Strong technical skills: as a Senior Developer, you are expected to be able to create projects from scratch and have a deep understanding of application architecture. Clear and effective communication in English — advanced ability to discuss business tasks, justify decisions, and communicate issues. Good self-presentation is also essential for upcoming client calls. Strong self-organizational skills — ability to work full-time remotely with no supervision. Reliability — we want to trust you and expect that you won’t let us and the client down.
