Job Summary We’re hiring a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to help integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle and strengthen the security of our cloud and platform environments. This role focuses on securing CI/CD pipelines, implementing cloud security controls, automating compliance processes, and partnering with engineering teams to embed security into development workflows. You’ll serve as a technical leader, helping drive DevSecOps practices while improving the security, reliability, and scalability of our platforms. Roles & Responsibilities Design and implement security controls across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and software development workflows Integrate security testing tools, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management solutions Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for applications, infrastructure, and platform services Implement and maintain security controls for cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code, and containerized workloads Develop automated security and compliance checks supporting regulatory and internal security requirements Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams to implement secure development practices Evaluate, implement, and optimize security tooling supporting application and infrastructure security Mentor engineers on secure development practices and DevSecOps methodologies Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, DevOps, or related engineering roles Experience implementing security controls within CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows Experience working with AWS or Azure in a production environment Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience scripting or automating workflows using Python, Bash, Terraform, or similar technologies Preferred Qualifications Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Snyk, Wiz, GitHub Advanced Security, or similar platforms Experience with SIEM, security monitoring, or threat detection platforms Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code security controls Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS Experience conducting threat modeling and security architecture reviews Experience mentoring engineers or leading security initiatives across multiple teams Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) in engineering workflows Additional Information Brightpath Technologies provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants without regard to race, religion, age, ancestry, gender, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
