Senior DevOps/FinOps Engineer

Operating at large scale, the company focuses on improving online trust, security, and operational resilience across modern digital platforms.PROJECTThe project is a high-load cybersecurity platform designed to safeguard applications and online services from malicious bot traffic and automated threats. The system operates within complex distributed environments and requires continuous optimization of infrastructure performance, scalability, and cloud spending efficiency.You will work closely with Engineering and Product teams to identify technical gaps, improve infrastructure visibility, and drive cost optimization initiatives across production systems.Key Technologies: GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, FinOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, Distributed SystemsRESPONSIBILITIESDevelop a deep understanding of complex, high-traffic infrastructure systems and servicesAnalyze distributed systems and legacy components to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunitiesBuild and maintain infrastructure cost visibility, including reporting pipelines and dashboardsIdentify and implement short-term and long-term infrastructure optimization initiativesCollaborate with Engineering and Product teams to present and drive technical improvementsOwn optimization initiatives end-to-end, from proposal to implementation and impact validationImprove infrastructure scalability, reliability, and operational efficiencyContribute to Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practicesREQUIRENETSAt least 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience in high-traffic production environmentsStrong practical experience with FinOps, infrastructure cost optimization, and reportingDeep understanding of cloud infrastructure cost drivers and optimization strategiesExperience presenting technical proposals and optimization initiatives to engineering leadershipSolid hands-on experience with Google Cloud PlatformProduction experience with KubernetesPractical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, preferably TerraformKnowledge of observability and monitoring solutionsAt least an Upper-Intermediate level of EnglishWILL BE A PLUSExperience working with multi-cloud environmentsBackground in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, trust & safety, or application protectionExperience with large-scale distributed systemsPERSONAL PROFILEProactive and self-driven mindsetStrong ownership and accountabilityAbility to work independently in high-autonomy environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrategic and systems-thinking approachAbility to balance short-term improvements with long-term technical strategy
