Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support and continuously improve a complex enterprise platform for a large customer in the banking sector. You will work with OpenShift, GitOps, ArgoCD, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation , contributing to platform development while also investigating and resolving complex production issues. The role requires close collaboration with multiple technical teams and customer stakeholders. Responsibilities Platform Operations & Reliability: Operate, maintain, and continuously improve OpenShift-based platform infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and availability. GitOps & CI/CD Enablement: Manage GitOps deployments through ArgoCD and support the CI/CD ecosystem, including Bitbucket, Nexus, and Harbor. Advanced Troubleshooting & RCA: Investigate and resolve complex platform, networking, and application issues, performing Root Cause Analysis to prevent recurring incidents. Automation & Platform Security: Support HashiCorp Vault, container platforms, and infrastructure automation using PowerShell. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with development, infrastructure, security, and database teams to deliver reliable and scalable platform services. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with customer stakeholders and internal teams in German and English. Qualifications Must have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering Strong experience with OpenShift (or Kubernetes), ArgoCD, and GitOps Experience with Bitbucket, HashiCorp Vault, Harbor (or Nexus), and CI/CD pipelines Good knowledge of Linux, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls), and PowerShell scripting Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems and performing Root Cause Analysis Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases Fluent German and English Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result Nice to have Keycloak Automic Helm Banking or enterprise environments Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Elastic) Additional Information At Accesa you can: Enjoy our holistic benefits program that covers the four pillars that we believe come together to support our wellbeing, covering social, physical, emotional wellbeing, as well as work-life fusion.
