Senior DevOps Engineer

💰 Salary: 7000-8000 USD/Month 💻 100% remote 🕦 Full-time ☑️ B2B We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing fintech company that builds a digital trading and investment platform. Requirements: 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a closely related infrastructure role. Experience working in high-availability, production-grade environments, ideally within fintech, banking, trading, or other regulated industries. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including services such as IDCS, VCN, Compute Instances, OCR, OKE, OSS, DRG, Buckets, DB system, S2S VPN, Load Balancers, Email Delivery, and vulnerability scanning. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and container orchestration with Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Helm, and Ingress Controllers. Solid experience with CI/CD tooling, including GitHub, Jenkins, and HashiCorp Vault. Experience automating logging, alerting, and monitoring using stacks such as Alert Manager, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Kibana, New Relic, and Datadog. Hands-on experience with databases and message brokers, including SQL, MySQL, CockroachDB, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL. Strong Linux and networking knowledge, including Nginx, Ansible, Git, SAML SSO implementation, Bash scripting, Python, Active Directory, WAF, patch management, and Cloudflare. Experience with OS hardening and vulnerability patching for both Linux and Windows servers. Programming and scripting skills in Bash and Python. Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with API6 API Gateway implementation and configuration. Experience with code analytics tooling such as SonarQube. Familiarity with security and vulnerability tools such as Trendmicro Deep Security and Endpoint Security. Exposure to SOC, DLP, and MDM tooling and processes. Exposure to trading system environments. Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to operational documentation. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud, covering compute, networking, storage, databases, and identity services. Own and evolve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and manage container orchestration across Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Ingress Controllers. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across GitHub and Jenkins, and manage secrets via HashiCorp Vault. Implement and automate logging, alerting, and monitoring across Alert Manager, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Kibana, New Relic, and Datadog, with health checks integrated into deployments. Configure and maintain databases and message brokers, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, MongoDB, Kafka, and Redis. Implement and configure the API6 API Gateway, manage WAF rules, and harden network-layer services including Nginx and Cloudflare. Perform OS hardening and vulnerability patching across Linux and Windows servers, and operate endpoint security tooling such as Trendmicro Deep Security. Lead root cause analysis and post-mortems, document operational processes, and contribute to runbooks and performance metrics tracking. Mentor junior engineers, collaborate with development teams on software requirements and test interpretation, and consult with management on operational impact and risk of platform decisions.
