Senior Developer

Salary: $121,000 - 161,000 per year Requirements: 6+ years of professional software development experience, plus a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong C#/.NET skills and experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, backend services, and cloud-based solutions using AWS. Strong understanding of software design, system architecture, distributed systems, and the software development lifecycle. Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB. Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and reliable build and deployment pipelines. Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience mentoring developers, reviewing code, influencing technical decisions, and delivering maintainable production software. Familiarity with performance optimization, observability, production diagnostics, incident response, secure coding, dependency management, and technical debt reduction. Ability to use AI-assisted development tools responsibly, validate their outputs, and follow security requirements. Responsibilities: Design and deliver clean, secure, maintainable, well-tested C#/.NET services, RESTful APIs, frameworks, and engineering tools that support Xactimate. Turn complex technical problems into scalable solutions and contribute to architecture and system design decisions that support reliability, performance, and maintainability. Work with product, design, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet user and business needs. Mentor developers with technical guidance and constructive code reviews, and promote consistent engineering practices. Participate in the on-call rotation, support production systems, resolve incidents and defects, and improve service observability and reliability. Maintain efficient CI/CD and automated build, test, and deployment processes. Address technical debt and improve system quality, performance, security, maintainability, and team workflows.
