Manage Azure SQL MI and automate data processes using PowerShell and Python.
📋 Description Own day-to-day ops of Azure SQL MI; monitor performance and long-running queries. Monitor, triage, and restart ADF pipelines; troubleshoot ADF-SQL MI integration. Manage SSIS package execution and HR/data integration processes. Build automation to replace manual toil using PowerShell, Python, or Azure tools. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for data/platform deployments. Participate in on-call rotations and produce daily operational reports. 🎯 Requirements Deep Azure and SQL experience including SQL MI, ADF, App Services, Storage. Scripting in PowerShell and Python to automate tasks end-to-end. Azure-native automation tools: Runbooks, Logic Apps, Functions, Event Grid. Self-healing patterns: automatic retries and recovery runbooks for ADF pipelines. Ability to write automation that others can run, maintain, and extend.
