About the role

Salary: $143000 - 172000 per year Requirements: We require U.S. citizenship to meet government contract obligations. We must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance or agency suitability determination, depending on assignment. We require full-time, on-site work at U.S. Government offices in the Boston, MA area. We are looking for a bachelors or masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a closely related technical discipline. We need at least 5 years of relevant experience. We require advanced proficiency in at least one programming language, with Python and C++ strongly preferred. We need experience building ETL processes, data pipelines, and entity resolution solutions. We require experience modeling data across diverse sources, formats, and structures. We need experience using Git version control and associated development practices. We require the ability to work directly with customers at all levels and represent our company professionally. We need the ability to handle sensitive, confidential, or regulated data in line with applicable policies. We require the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We need the ability to translate customer needs or problem statements into clear project plans, define goals and methods, and deliver results on time. Preferred qualifications include experience with SDLC practices such as DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization. Preferred qualifications also include exposure to signal processing, cybersecurity, and encryption. Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Snowflake, or in-memory stores such as Redis, is an advantage. Preferred candidates will have an active government suitability determination or security clearance. Experience working with law enforcement agencies is preferred. Additional programming languages such as Java or C# are a plus. Responsibilities: We collect, integrate, resolve, analyze, model, and explain large datasets in support of complex federal investigations. We support a wide range of federal law enforcement mission areas, including human rights crimes, emerging threat detection, money laundering, fraud, force protection, transnational crime, and immigration enforcement. We contribute to internal innovation through research and development efforts. We develop and maintain shared technical capabilities. We support business development activities, including proof-of-concept work and capability briefings. We work onsite with U.S. Government customers in the Boston area and operate as embedded support. We collaborate with customers to interpret requests and turn them into actionable project plans and deliverables. We build software solutions that support ETL, data pipelines, entity resolution, and related analytical workflows. We maintain collaborative codebases and apply version control, linting, testing, and containerization practices. We interact with REST APIs as part of software development and integration work. We handle sensitive and regulated information according to required policies and procedures. Our work spans mission-critical investigations and operational support across areas such as human rights crimes, fraud, money laundering, cybersecurity-related threats, and immigration enforcement. This is an in-person role located at U.S. Government customer sites in the Boston, MA area, and it is not a telework position.
