Salary: $116000 - 217000 per year Requirements: We need 7+ years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning, or applied analytics. We prefer an advanced degree, ideally a PhD, in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience. We need a proven record of launching models into production and supporting them at scale. We require strong expertise in machine learning and deep learning algorithms and frameworks. We need proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with R, SAS, or similar analytical tools is an advantage. We value experience with distributed computing tools such as Hive, Hadoop, and Spark, as well as cloud ML platforms like AWS SageMaker or Azure ML. We need excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder-influence skills. We want someone who can operate effectively in ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, and tackle complex open-ended problems. We are looking for a collaborative partner with strong cross-functional teamwork skills and an ownership mindset. Responsibilities: We apply advanced analytics, machine learning, deep learning, and AI techniques to build predictive models and intelligent automation solutions that create measurable business value. We own the full model lifecycle, including data exploration, modeling, validation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous enhancement. We identify and resolve model performance issues and put scalable, dependable processes in place for ongoing model operations. We use strong programming skills to prepare complex structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets and build reproducible pipelines. We translate sophisticated analytical results into clear, actionable insights that shape decisions across the organization. We present recommendations through compelling storytelling that connects with technical and non-technical audiences. We lead discovery discussions to clarify business needs, define success measures, and design analytical approaches aligned to strategy. We drive innovation in Data & AI by introducing new methods, experimentation frameworks, and reusable analytical assets. We establish and champion best practices in model development, MLOps, governance, and data quality. We stay current on emerging trends, regulations, and technologies and advise on how to apply them within the organization. We act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders across the enterprise. We partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Business, to deliver scalable solutions. We contribute to strategic initiatives, roadmaps, and business cases that advance our data and AI vision. We mentor other data scientists and support internal training, tools, and knowledge sharing. We structure analytical approaches for complex, ambiguous problems and choose the most appropriate modeling techniques. We lead change management and communication efforts tied to analytics initiatives. We implement processes and controls that ensure high-quality, consistent delivery of analytical work.
