Job description
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support AWS‑based data platforms and newly built data lakes. The role focuses on creating and maintaining data pipelines, integrating Databricks, and ensuring smooth data migration from decommissioned sources to new architectures.
– Build and maintain data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, orchestration).
– Re‑write ETL processes in Databricks and configure platform connectivity.
– Support data migration into new data lakes.
– Strong Python and SQL skills.
– Develop and optimize AWS infrastructure for data processing.
– Ensure data quality, monitoring, logging, and reliability.
– Experience with CI/CD and IaC (CDK).
– Implement secure access patterns (IAM, policies).
– Work independently and collaborate with engineering teams.
– Experience in regulated industries (pharma/healthcare).
– Background in data science or AI/agentic coding.
