Senior Data Analyst

Salary: $81000 - 183000 per year Requirements: We require demonstrated success delivering end-to-end analytics work, paired with strong analytical thinking and sound problem-solving judgment. We need at least 2 years of hands-on Databricks experience, including data transformation, workflow automation, data modeling, and reporting, with a commitment to staying current on platform enhancements and AI-driven capabilities. We require 4+ years of practical experience using data visualization tools; Power BI or QuickSight experience is preferred. We value versatility with programming languages and modern AI-assisted tools that improve analysis speed, automation, and productivity. We prefer candidates with a background in healthcare data, insurance, or actuarial work. We value hands-on data engineering experience. We prefer relevant certifications such as Databricks Certified Associate, Power BI, or AWS. We look for advanced Power BI capability, including DAX, Power Query, data visualization, and report automation. We need excellent verbal and written communication skills. We expect the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively with teams, and operate comfortably with or without direct supervision. Responsibilities: We partner with data engineers, business analysts, and leadership to define data needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions, using automation and GenAI where appropriate to accelerate insights. We own analytics initiatives from start to finish, continuously improving speed, quality, and scalability through automation and thoughtfully applied GenAI. We create clear, engaging, and user-friendly visualizations across BI platforms to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. We perform deep-dive data analysis to uncover complex patterns and trends, then translate findings into actionable recommendations. We design, develop, and refine sophisticated data models that support reporting and advanced analytics. We participate in peer reviews to uphold quality, consistency, and team-wide learning. We use Databricks, BI tools, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities to strengthen analytics maturity and improve team effectiveness. We proactively share insights, surface opportunities, and help solve problems in a constructive and positive way.
