About the role

Salary: $93000 - 93000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Data Science, Public Health, Health Information Management, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline. We require at least 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics or data science. We value proven expertise in large-scale data analysis, data processing, and data technologies. We need experience working with industry data models and standards such as OMOP, FHIR, and DICOM. We expect familiarity with advanced analytics platforms, data visualization tools, and cloud-based data environments such as Azure, Google, or AWS. We accept relevant education in place of experience on a year-for-year basis. A masters degree in a quantitative or healthcare-focused field is preferred. We prefer at least 7 years of experience in a complex healthcare setting. We prefer a Cloud Data Analytics certification or an equivalent cloud certification from Azure, Google, or AWS. Responsibilities: We analyze data using statistical techniques to identify meaningful patterns, differences, and trends. We lead the design and application of advanced statistical models and predictive analytics. We turn complex business challenges into clear analytical approaches. We synthesize and assess large datasets to generate practical, decision-ready insights. We present findings to senior leaders and governance committees. We build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and enterprise reporting tools. We standardize KPIs and reporting practices across departments. We automate reporting workflows to improve efficiency and consistency. We ensure visual outputs are clear, accurate, and aligned with organizational priorities. We partner with IT to strengthen reporting systems and infrastructure. We develop databases, data collection systems, and analytics methods that improve efficiency and data quality. We integrate information from multiple sources, including EHR, claims, financial, and operational systems. We help define and implement data standards and quality controls. We create and maintain operational and research data models for visualization and statistical work. We establish standard procedures for appropriate data use. We act as a trusted advisor to clinical and administrative leaders. We consult with internal and external stakeholders to clarify needs and data requirements. We explain complex systems and datasets in a way that supports decision-making. We facilitate data strategy discussions and requirements-gathering workshops. We build agreement around data definitions and appropriate usage. We mentor junior and mid-level analysts in technical skills and professional growth. We document analytical work, including sources, specifications, tools, and issue resolutions. We evaluate and test emerging analytics tools and methods. We stay current on evolving technologies and data analytics trends. We lead communities of practice and deliver training sessions. We contribute to scholarly work and related academic efforts. We support strategic planning and digital transformation initiatives. We assist with grant-funded research and academic collaborations. We represent our organization at conferences and professional forums. We participate in post-implementation reviews of analytics projects. We help assess vendors and support procurement of analytics tools.
