Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business objectives, operational needs, and technology solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams to identify opportunities, define requirements, improve processes, and deliver solutions that drive measurable business value. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities, and a proven track record of translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements. Key Responsibilities Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business challenges, and operational requirements. Lead requirements-gathering activities, including stakeholder interviews, workshops, process reviews, and analysis of existing systems and workflows. Translate business needs into clear and detailed business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation. Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. Develop and maintain process maps, business process models, data flows, use cases, and other relevant documentation. Work closely with product managers, project managers, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders throughout the solution delivery lifecycle. Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented. Evaluate proposed solutions against business requirements and organizational objectives. Support solution design, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation, and post-implementation activities. Develop reports, dashboards, and business insights to support data-driven decision-making where required. Identify business risks, dependencies, assumptions, and potential impacts associated with proposed changes. Manage competing priorities and requirements across multiple projects or initiatives. Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and intermediate business analysts. Contribute to business cases, feasibility assessments, project estimates, and recommendations for senior management. Ensure business requirements and supporting documentation remain accurate, complete, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements analysis, process improvement, product management, or a related role. Demonstrated experience leading business analysis activities for medium to large-scale projects. Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements management, and software development lifecycles. Experience with process mapping and modeling techniques. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong documentation and presentation skills. Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project environments. Business analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent. Experience with data analysis, SQL, reporting, or business intelligence tools. Experience working with enterprise applications, ERP, CRM, or other business systems. Experience leading process transformation, digital transformation, or automation initiatives. Previous experience mentoring or leading other business analysts.
