Design and build backend services for liquidity management using Java/Kotlin and event-driven architectures.
📋 Description Design, build, and own backend services for liquidity management. Ensure funds are available across entities, accounts, and currencies. Build scalable platforms for liquidity forecasting and cash positioning. Develop data pipelines and analytics for cash positions and fund flows. Work with microservices, event-driven tech, Kafka, gRPC, REST, and SQL/NoSQL data stores. Implement robust controls for limits, approvals, reconciliation, data quality, and monitoring. 🎯 Requirements 5+ years of production backend experience. Strong JVM programming in Kotlin or Java, or similar backend stack. Distributed systems fundamentals: concurrency, consistency, idempotency. REST and/or gRPC APIs with PostgreSQL and/or key-value stores. Proficiency with event-driven architectures and Kafka or similar. Testing, CI/CD, observability, and cross-functional collaboration.
