Senior Back-End Developer - PHP

This is a remote position. Job Role: We are seeking a Senior Back-End Developer-PHP who will play a pivotal role in spearheading our backend development initiatives. This position requires an individual with strong expertise in PHP, Laravel and Devops along with strong leadership skills. As the Lead Backend Developer, you will oversee the development of the backend infrastructure, ensuring responsiveness to frontend requests, and driving optimization efforts for both technology and user experience. Project Role: Senior Back-End Developer-PHP Work Experience: 4+ years Work Location : Remote Must-Have Skills: PHP, Laravel. Roles and Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Hands-on development experience with PHP, Laravel, and DevOps, actively identifying and addressing technical challenges. Analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and implement improvements. Collaborate with the frontend team to understand UI requirements, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal web functionality. Generate ideas for new programs, products, or features by staying updated with industry developments and trends. Develop high-quality, reusable code and conduct UI tests to optimize performance. Proficient in database systems, with expertise in MySQL; familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB is preferred. Solid understanding of enterprise software design patterns, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and data structures. Technical Profile: Expertise in PHP-based frameworks such as Laravel, with a strong understanding of design patterns and best practices. Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js for building scalable backend systems and APIs. Experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like React.js or AngularJS. Proficiency in continuous integration and deployment. Strong knowledge of building distributed systems, microservices-based architecture, and web services (REST, SOAP) to ensure reliability, fault tolerance, and scalability. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including services like AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, or Azure Functions.
