Senior AWS Cloud Developer

Salary: $72000 - 135000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent background. We want 7–10 years of experience as an AWS cloud developer. We need strong hands-on knowledge of AWS serverless services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3. We are seeking experience building backend systems with Java, Node.js, or Python. We value familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methods, and SRE practices. We need working knowledge of cloud computing, cloud security, and cloud storage. We are looking for experience delivering solutions across the AWS platform from development through deployment. We want strong solution design experience with microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native architectures. We expect familiarity with tools and services such as API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, AWS EMR, Glue, ELK/OpenSearch, RDS, DynamoDB, CDK, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Terraform, and CodePipeline. We are seeking a candidate who can work independently on complex tasks and apply sound judgment to solve issues within defined guidelines. Responsibilities: We will have you develop and support scalable, high-performance cloud applications and server-side components. We will ask you to design and deliver RESTful APIs and microservices. You will write maintainable, efficient code while following strong standards for development, testing, and documentation. You will tune applications for speed, resilience, and scalability. You will troubleshoot defects and resolve performance issues. You will participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to teammates. You will stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant advancements into your work. You will partner with SRE teams to design, build, and operate reliable cloud-based systems. You will help shape SRE standards, influence architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute to the SRE Community of Practice. You will create workflows, documentation, and CI/CD environments that support cloud operations and delivery. You will translate business needs into technical requirements and support cloud migration and cloud-native development efforts.
