The Senior Automation QA will be responsible for ensuring software quality by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and product teams, ownership of test strategy, mentoring junior QA engineers, and driving best practices to improve product reliability and release efficiency.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
– Hands-on QA across UI, API, and Database testing – both Automation & Manual
– Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical documents to design detailed test cases and test data
– Design, build, execute, and maintain automation scripts using BDD (Gherkin), Pytest, and Playwright
– Own and maintain QA artifacts: Test Strategy, BRD, defect metrics, leakage reports, quality dashboards
– Work with stakeholders to review and improve testing approaches using data-backed quality metrics
– Ensure maximum feasible automation coverage in every sprint
– Perform functional, integration, and regression testing in Agile & DevOps environments
