About the role
Own data architecture and build scalable data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
📋 Description Own data architecture across ingestion, transformation, and reporting. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines across internal and external sources. Develop validation frameworks to monitor data quality and quickly identify issues. Write and optimize complex SQL to power analytics and decision-making. Design data models for financial reporting, operations, and merchandising. Partner with Finance for accurate revenue, costs, and unit economics reporting. 🎯 Requirements 5–10+ years in data engineering or analytics roles. GCP/BigQuery expertise; materialized views, scheduled queries, SQL optimization. Airbyte ingestion tools; connectors, debugging sync failures, and validation frameworks. SQL/data modeling; AI tools (Claude Code); fluent in CTEs, windows, UNION ALL. Experience supporting financial reporting: P&L reconciliation, COGS, revenue waterfalls, unit economics. Experience building dashboards in modern BI tools.
