Senior AI/ML Engineer with Databricks

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / AI Engineer to join a long-term initiative for an international client from the insurance sector. The role focuses on delivering intelligent document processing and AI-driven automation solutions using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.📍 100% remote💰 Rate: 180 - 200 PLN/h net (B2B)📅 Long-term cooperation – 12 Months, Start Date: ASAP🕰️ Standard working hours 9-17 (CET/CEST)Key responsibilitiesDesign and develop data processing solutions in the Azure ecosystem.Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse.Develop OCR-based solutions for automated document processing.Integrate extracted data with enterprise applications and reporting systems.Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to DataOps best practices.Support the implementation of AI and Machine Learning initiatives.Potential initiatives on the client sideOCR automation for cash register reports.Intelligent extraction of data from receipts and invoices.Document data extraction and integration with downstream systems.Digitization and automation of paper-based customer surveys.OCR combined with text analytics and sentiment analysis.Processing multilingual documents and forms.Supporting new AI-driven automation initiatives emerging in the project pipeline.Required skills and experience:Strong experience in Data Engineering.Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks.Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.Very good knowledge of Azure Cloud services.Experience working with Azure Data Lake.Strong SQL skills, including:->SQL Server->SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)->SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)->SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services)Experience in:->Data Modeling->Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence->Data Mining->DataOpsExposure to Machine Learning projects.Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development practices.Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international environment.Experience with OCR, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), or Azure AI Document Intelligence.Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and text analytics.Experience with multilingual document processing solutions.What we offerRate of 180 - 100 PLN/h net on B2B.100% remote workConvenient payment arrangements.A short 14-day invoice payment term.Comprehensive private healthcare package.Access to the MyBenefit cafeteria platform, including MultiSport cards and gift cards for popular stores and services.
