Senior AI Engineer (Gen AI, Agentic AI)

Salary: $212000 - 263000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with at least 6 years of experience in developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies, or a Masters degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience Minimum of 6 years of programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, or Java 7 years of experience in deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or equivalent private cloud) Experience in designing, developing, integrating, delivering, and supporting complex AI systems Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders Proficient in developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies (e.g., LLM Inference, Similarity Search and VectorDBs, Guardrails, Memory) with Python, C++, C#, Java, or Golang Experience in optimizing training and inference software for improved hardware utilization, latency, throughput, and cost Passion for keeping up with the latest AI research and judiciously applying novel techniques in production Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex AI concepts to peers Responsibilities: Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to create AI-driven products that enhance our associates workflows and customer interactions Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI software components, including foundation model training, large language model inference, similarity search, guardrails, model evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability Utilize a wide range of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, Nemo Guardrails, and PyTorch Innovate and implement cutting-edge LLM optimization techniques to enhance performance metrics including scalability, cost, latency, and throughput of large-scale production AI systems Contribute to the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems at Northwind Robotics Technologies: AI AWS Azure C# Cloud Golang Hardware Support Java LLM Machine Learning PyTorch Python Scala More: At Northwind Robotics, we are pioneering responsible and reliable AI systems that are transforming banking for the better.
