Build and automate security controls and workflows for cloud environments.
📋 Description Build and automate security controls with Infra: IaC checks, least-privilege, and auto secrets detection. Create or tune detections and response playbooks; validate via simulations and runbooks. Contribute to secure-by-default developer workflows (pre-commit, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning) and triage findings. Improve cloud security posture with misconfiguration checks, logging coverage, and tagging hygiene. Write clear documentation and SOPs for what you build; hand off with measurable acceptance criteria. Partner on security reviews for low-to-medium risk changes and track mitigations. 🎯 Requirements Projects in security engineering, cloud, or DevSecOps; able to automate with Python or Go. Familiar with cloud security (GCP/AWS/Azure), IAM, CI/CD, Kubernetes, or detection engineering. Love to automate, measure outcomes, and document systems. Strong communicator; turn ambiguity into a small, shippable plan with milestones. Hands-on with Terraform, policy-as-code (OPA/Conftest), and CI (GitHub Actions/GitLab). Experience with log pipelines and SIEM/analytics; basic detection.
