Scrum Master

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Scrum Master is responsible for supporting various clients and projects across our customer base by facilitating retrospective meetings at the end of each sprint/project to ensure the highest priority retrospective points are met to the customer's satisfaction. The primary job duties may include coaching scrum teams in all areas (including sprint reviews and planning), milestone tracking, holding daily stand-up meetings, and collaborating with engineering, product management, and quality control departments to ensure the project is completed according to specifications. Ensures that the team follows the scrum methodology and keeps the team on track, productive, and growing in ability. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Scrum Master (Internal Role) Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective). Coach and mentor Scrum teams on Agile principles, practices, and values. Remove impediments that are blocking the team's progress. Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment. Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to stakeholders and management. Assist in creating and maintaining the product backlog. Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the backlog. Ensure transparency and open communication within the team and with stakeholders. Promote continuous improvement within the team and the organization. Manage project releases and sprints. JOB SPECIFICATIONS : Education – At least graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related course. Professional Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Master certification is a plus Related Work Experience – 2-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of successfully implementing Scrum in software development projects. Experience with web and mobile applications is highly desirable. Knowledge - Deep understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework. Knowledge of various Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, XP). Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello). Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC). Knowledge of risk management and quality management principles. Skills: Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and facilitation skills. Strong coaching and mentoring skills. Ability to build trust and rapport with team members and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
