SASE Architect

Information about the project: Industry: pharma Location: remote Contract: B2B Rate: we’re open to your suggestions Long-term cooperation Introduction & Summary: The SASE 2.0 Architect will be responsible for designing and documenting Client’s target state for SASE 2.0. The core deliverables include developing a SASE Discovery & Target State Strategy. The role demands a hands-on approach in architecting solutions and producing governance-quality documents aligned with ISO 27002:2022. Main Responsibilities: Develop SASE Discovery & Target State Strategy document. Create a formal Bayer Security Standard with mapping to existing security frameworks. Draft Mini-SoW Task Orders for project approval. Produce detailed documentation adhering to Client’s BAFS framework. Map technology requirements to ISO 27002:2022 controls. Key Requirements: Experience in designing full SASE architecture stack (end-to-end). Expertise in Secure Web Gateway (Zscaler ZIA, Netskope, etc.). Strong skills in Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) integration. Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access principles and platforms. Experience in Firewall-as-a-Service implementation and policy design. Proven ability to author concise, stakeholder-ready target state strategies. Formal experience in Security Standard (BSS) authoring aligned to governance frameworks. Hands-on mapping experience to ISO 27002:2022 controls. Ability to conduct structured gap analysis against countermeasure catalogues. Nice to Have: Experience with hybrid network and SD-WAN integration. Prior authorship of reference architecture documents. Familiarity with proprietary security framework like BAFS. Knowledge in the pharma/life sciences sector. TOGAF or SABSA certification. Other Details: This role involves hands-on architecture and governance documentation in a rapidly evolving environment. The consultant will be expected to work autonomously and draft documents that adhere to strict security guidelines. Knowledge of regulatory environments is a plus, especially in the pharma sector.
