SAP S/4hana Master Data SME

Contract: B2B till the end of 2027 + possible extensionsStart: ASAPLocation and set-up:If based in the commuting area of Warsaw - hybrid once per week in the office.If outside of Warsaw: occasional office visitsWe are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Master Data SME to join a large international organisation and take functional ownership of key master data processes, governance standards and ways of working.The role has a particular focus on Store/Site, Material/Product, Business Partner and Pricing Master Data and combines SAP functional expertise with data governance, process improvement, documentation, training and enablement.Your roleAs the Master Data SME, you will serve as the functional expert for SAP S/4HANA Master Data Management and act as a key link between the Master Data team, project teams and IT Support.Your responsibilities will include:Acting as the Subject Matter Expert for SAP S/4HANA master data processes, structures and governance.Supporting Store/Site, Material/Product, Business Partner and Pricing Master Data domains.Working closely with project design teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer.Supporting the transition of newly delivered SAP capabilities into sustainable operational processes.Defining and maintaining master data standards, business rules and governance frameworks.Improving master data processes, controls and data quality.Investigating recurring data issues and supporting long-term remediation.Working with business stakeholders, Process Owners and Digital & Technology teams on process changes and enhancements.Creating and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, process maps, knowledge articles and training materials.Delivering training, onboarding and knowledge-sharing sessions for business users and Master Data teams.Assessing operational readiness and supporting adoption of new SAP capabilities and ways of working.Identifying opportunities for process standardization, simplification and automation.Supporting audit, compliance and control requirements related to master data.What we are looking for5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance or ERP-related master data processes.Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Master Data.Experience in one or more of the following domains:Store / Site / Plant Master Data.Material / Product / Article Master Data.Business Partner / Customer / Vendor Master Data.Pricing Master Data.Good understanding of SAP integrations and data validation processes.Experience defining master data standards, controls and business rules.Strong understanding of data quality and governance principles.Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, process documentation and training materials.Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.Ability to work effectively between project, IT and other teams.Nice to haveExperience with Article Master, Site Master or retail pricing.Previous involvement in SAP S/4HANA transformation or migration programmes.
