SAP CPI Developer

Salary: $210,080 - 216,320 per year Requirements: At least 5 years of experience with SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration (PI/PO) 7.4 or later. At least 3 years of hands-on SAP Integration Suite Cloud Integration (CPI) development experience. Strong experience developing SAP CPI integrations from requirements through deployment, including custom integration flows. Proven experience migrating interfaces from SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI. Strong knowledge of integration patterns, middleware concepts, enterprise application integration, SQL, and database concepts. Experience configuring, developing, implementing, and supporting SAP PI/PO using JDBC, SFTP, File, IDoc, XI Proxy, REST, and SOAP adapters. Hands-on experience with SAP CPI adapters, including SFTP, SOAP, HTTP, OData, IDoc, and ProcessDirect. Experience with API security, OAuth, certificates, authentication, and encryption. Experience with XML, JSON, XPath, XSLT, and Groovy scripting. Experience tuning SAP PI/PO performance, optimizing interfaces, and monitoring and supporting production integrations. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments. Desired: SAP S/4HANA integration experience; experience connecting SAP PI/PO and CPI with JDE or other ERP platforms; SAP BTP exposure and understanding of cloud integration architecture; DB2 SQL or Microsoft T-SQL stored procedure development; Agile/Scrum experience; and familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or other source control and deployment tools. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations using SAP Integration Suite Cloud Integration. Create custom integration flows using standard and advanced CPI capabilities. Participate in SAP PI/PO-to-CPI migrations, including assessment, redevelopment, testing, and deployment. Develop and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, File, and JDBC technologies. Build and enhance Groovy scripts, message and value mappings, and exception-handling processes. Troubleshoot interface failures and investigate root causes of production incidents. Work with Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, functional teams, business users, and other stakeholders to understand processes, gather requirements, and deliver integration solutions. Prepare technical design documents, deployment guides, and operational support documentation. Tune and optimize SAP PI/PO and CPI interfaces. Follow enterprise integration standards, security requirements, and development best practices.
