Stop overpaying for law firm work. Start with Aperture Cloud. About the role: The Salesforce Technical Lead serves as Aperture Cloud's senior Salesforce architect and platform owner. This role provides architectural direction for the Salesforce org, leads a team of two Salesforce Engineers, and acts as the primary technical partner to Commercial and other Salesforce-dependent business domains. The incumbent sets engineering standards, governs the platform, and shapes Salesforce's contribution to Aperture Cloud's broader enterprise data and integration strategy. Core Responsibilities: Own the Salesforce platform architecture: data model, security model, integration architecture, and overall technical health of the org. Lead technical design and delivery for complex Salesforce features, integrations, and platform enhancements. Directly manage two Salesforce Engineers; provide technical direction, code review, mentorship, and career development. Architect and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems via Boomi middleware and direct API patterns. Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and release management practices across the Salesforce org. Lead discovery and requirements analysis sessions with business stakeholders; translate needs into scalable technical specifications. Evaluate third-party AppExchange solutions and advise on build-vs-buy decisions. Manage technical debt, governor limit health, and platform security posture including profiles, permission sets, and data sharing rules. Drive Salesforce release management: assess tri-annual release impact, coordinate testing, and manage opt-in adoption. Advise on Salesforce roadmap alignment in partnership with the VP, Enterprise Applications and Commercial leadership. Partner with the Data Architect on Salesforce data governance, master data strategy, and alignment with Aperture Cloud's enterprise data model. Contribute to cross-platform architecture decisions in coordination with the VP, Enterprise Applications and peer platform leads. About you: 7+ years of Salesforce engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a lead, architect, or senior individual contributor role. Expert-level Apex: asynchronous patterns (Batch, Queueable, Future), SOQL optimization, and governor limit management. Salesforce Platform Developer II required; Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent credential strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience designing and governing Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems (Workday, Boomi, or comparable middleware). Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, sharing architecture, and data access patterns. Experience with SFDX, CI/CD pipelines, and version-controlled Salesforce development. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers. CPQ or Revenue Cloud experience, a plus. Excellent communication skills; comfortable in both technical architecture reviews and business stakeholder sessions. Effectively manages priorities in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment.
