Salesforce Education Cloud Developer

Salary: $135000 - 179000 per year Requirements: Strong hands-on Salesforce development background, including Apex, Lightning, APIs, and integration work Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise system integrations Solid understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, middleware concepts, data mapping, and data exchange workflows Experience with flat-file interfaces and automated data transfer mechanisms Working knowledge of Salesforce data modeling and overall application architecture Excellent written and verbal communication, along with strong documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders Preferred: direct experience with Salesforce Education Cloud Preferred: prior integration experience between Salesforce Education Cloud and Workday Student Preferred: experience in higher education environments Preferred: familiarity with change management, release management, and DevOps practices Preferred: experience supporting large-scale ERP or Student Information System implementations Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain integrations between Salesforce Education Cloud and Workday Student Support accurate, timely two-way data synchronization across connected systems Help establish Salesforce Education Cloud as the system of record for student and applicant data Develop and sustain APIs, integration services, and data transformation routines Support both file-based and API-based integration approaches, including flat-file exchanges and direct connections Work closely with the Workday Student team and internal partners during implementation and cutover activities Partner with cross-functional groups on change control, deployments, and DevOps-related tasks Produce and update technical documentation, integration specs, process diagrams, and support resources Explain technical ideas in business-friendly terms for non-technical audiences Apply integration best practices, data governance standards, and disciplined development methods Technologies: Apex API Cloud DevOps ERP Support REST SOAP Salesforce AI Flow LESS More: We are a remote-first team working on a Salesforce Education Cloud environment that is in the middle of a Workday Student implementation and go-live effort. This role works standard 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST hours and is focused on keeping student and applicant data flowing reliably between Salesforce, Workday Student, and other enterprise applications.
