Rust Developer

Salary: $187,200 - 187,200 per year Requirements: 5+ years of backend or software engineering experience, including building production cloud-native distributed systems on AWS. 2+ years of hands-on Rust experience, or demonstrable production-grade Rust project work, including asynchronous programming, concurrency, and performance tuning. Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud patterns, including networking and VPC, IAM and security, compute and containerization, monitoring, and logging. Proven ability to design and build greenfield platforms in regulated environments, including new services, data contracts, CI/CD standards, and operational readiness. Preferred: C#/.NET experience, familiarity with microservices or service-oriented architectures, and experience migrating or modernizing legacy or .NET platforms. Responsibilities: Develop and enhance production cloud-native distributed systems on AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and modernize platforms, including migration projects. Create scalable, high-performance services with a focus on reliability, security, and operational excellence. Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from planning through deployment and maintenance. Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code practices to deliver high-quality software.
