About the role

About the Role We are seeking a highly competent and MOE-registered Robotics & ICT Specialist on behalf of VIonData Partners to be deployed full-time at Temasek Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to support the school's Robotics programme and teaching & learning initiatives. You will be the overall in-charge of the Innovation Studio and robotics assets, providing expertise to staff and students. Key Responsibilities Robotics Programme Management: Overall in-charge of the robotics asset inventory, stock-taking, and managing the loaning and returning of equipment. Innovation Studio Management: Manage and maintain the Innovation Studio. Training & Development: Provide Robotics expertise through sharing, training, and lessons for both staff and students. Handhold them in their learning journey. Curriculum Support: Prepare necessary Robotics materials, slides, and handouts for lessons. Competition Preparation: Prepare, guide, and accompany students for external Robotics competitions. Market Research: Proactively scan the market for new Robotics tools to support teaching and learning. Vendor Liaison: Liaise with Robotics vendors when necessary. Reporting: Report the progress and outcomes of assigned tasks to the HOD Science. Additional Support: Perform any other ad-hoc duties provided by HOD Science, such as video and photo editing when required Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: MOE Registration: Must be registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE) as an instructor/trainer Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including: At least one year of related experience in coaching Robotics to children and adults. Experience in coaching Robotics to children for Robotics competitions Qualifications & Skills: Competent in Robotics-related fields. Certified in building-blocks (e.g., LEGO Education). Possess strong technical knowledge and a passion for mentoring students [citation:ITQ]. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Working Hours: Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027. Deployment Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break).
