Ironwood Digital Marine, Offshore & Wind is looking for a Product Developer Software to join our dedicated R&D team. This is a key role where your technical expertise directly influences product quality, performance, and innovation.
What you'll do
You will be involved in the design and development of software solutions for advanced lighting products used in marine, offshore, and defense applications --- working in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment alongside hardware engineers, system architects, and product specialists.
You'll work on:
\--- Design and develop embedded software for next-generation lighting products
\--- Participate in system integration to ensure seamless interaction between hardware and software components
\--- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows
\--- Conduct code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainable, scalable software
\--- Use AI tools to enhance code quality, improve development efficiency, and increase delivery pace
\--- Contribute to software development across other product categories when needed Who you are
Qualifications
\--- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, or a related field
\--- 2--5 years of relevant experience in embedded software development
\--- Skilled in C/C++, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
\--- Experience using AI tools in development processes
\--- Good understanding of hardware design, including PCBAs --- considered a strong advantage
\--- Strong communication skills in Norwegian and/or English
