The Career Opportunity Want to work for a Singapore-based Tech Company? We are looking for a QC Engineer with 2 years of experience to join our growing team and help drive product quality as we scale. The QC Engineer plays a key role in ensuring the stability and performance of our ERP and SaaS-based web applications. You will work closely with the BA, Developers, and Product teams to test and validate system functionalities, identify bugs, and contribute to continuous quality improvements. Your Responsibilities: Test Planning and Execution: Review requirements, user stories, and designs to develop test plans and detailed test cases. Execute manual functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests across web and mobile applications. Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools. Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects using Jira with clear steps to reproduce and supporting evidence. Work closely with developers to reproduce, analyse, and verify fixes. Automation and Tools: Knowledge or hands-on with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress). Execute automated test scripts if available and report results. Technical Understanding: Understanding of frontend and backend structures (API endpoints, database interactions). Ability to interpret logs and identify potential issues related to the FE or BE. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with BAs and Developers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to the team. Documentation: Maintain test case repositories and ensure test cases are up-to-date with product changes. Document test results and prepare test summary reports for releases. Your Skills and Experience At least 2 years of experience in software testing for web and/or mobile applications. Experience in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira/Confluence. Understanding of API testing (using tools like Postman). Familiar with using SQL to verify data in databases is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to work independently and within a team, with a problem-solving mindset. Good communication skills in English (verbal and written). Experience with test automation is a plus but not mandatory.
