QA Lead

Salary: $122000 - 140000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. We need 7+ years of software QA experience, including at least 3+ years leading QA teams. We look for 5 years of experience across ecommerce web, Salesforce, and mobile platforms; ATG experience is a plus. We expect proven success managing onshore and offshore QA resources with strong performance and accountability. We value solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test design approaches, and SDLC/Agile practices. We need hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks and tools using any coding language, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java. We require experience working with CI/CD pipelines and embedding automated tests into release processes. We look for strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities. We expect the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining high quality standards. Familiarity with performance and load testing is preferred. Working knowledge of AWS cloud and pipelines is preferred. Responsibilities: We define, create, and implement test strategies and test plans for complex applications and systems. We lead and mentor a QA team across onshore and offshore locations, keeping work aligned with project goals and timelines. We oversee the full QA lifecycle, including requirements review, test design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting. We establish and uphold QA processes, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent product quality. We drive the adoption of automation frameworks and tools, with emphasis on Ghost Inspector, CodeCeptJS, Playwright, TypeScript, Postman, and similar modern solutions, to reduce manual effort and expand coverage. We partner with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to embed quality practices throughout the development cycle. We monitor QA progress, resource planning, and risk exposure, and we provide regular status updates to leadership. We promote continuous improvement in testing methods, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.
