If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you! As a QA Automation Engineer at Keystone AI , you will be a key guardian of our product quality. You will go beyond simply finding bugs; you will be an architect of our testing ecosystem, bridging the gap between manual precision and automated efficiency. You will play a critical role in ensuring our healthcare platform remains robust, compliant, and performant. This is a remote role based out of Canada for a 15 month Fixed-Term contract. What you will be doing as a QA Automation Engineer: Strategy & Execution: Shape and execute a comprehensive automated / Manual testing strategy that scales with our platform. End-to-End Validation: Design sophisticated test scenarios covering front-end features, back-end data integrity, third-party integrations, and strict regulatory compliance. Test Development: Build and maintain a sustainable library of functional and integration tests, including program code for automated scripts and high-fidelity test data. Requirement Analysis: Partner with Product and Engineering to review functional specifications, identifying edge cases and defining requirements for end-to-end use cases. Quality Advocacy: Adhere to and optimize our formal workflows. You will validate functionality, enhance code quality through peer reviews, and provide transparent reporting on test results. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as an intermediate-to-senior technical resource, working in a tight feedback loop with the Product and Tech teams to deliver collaborative, high-quality solutions. The Skills & Experience We’re Looking For: 5+ years of hands-on experience building and scaling robust automation frameworks. You are independent, passionate about your craft, and take true pride in the stability of the products you ship. A deep-seated understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and a relentless commitment to high standards. Proven experience in Agile environments, specifically utilizing TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development). A strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails, Cucumber (Gherkin), RSpec, FactoryBot, Capybara, Selenium, SitePrism, HTML/CSS, JavaScript. Proficiency in Bitbucket for version control and a comfort level navigating complex ticket-based workflows (Jira). It would be great if you also have: Familiarity with the Hotwire stack (Turbo, Stimulus) and Tailwind CSS. Experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (specifically CircleCI). Previous experience in the Healthcare industry, with an understanding of the nuances and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2) that come with it.
