QA Analyst II/III

Salary: $84,500 - 112,500 per year Requirements: Technical familiarity with development concepts and formats such as SQL, XML, JSON, and scripting languages Ability to contribute to prioritization, estimation, and acceptance criteria Ability to define test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures Ability to provide usability and functionality feedback to developers Ability to interact with customers about issues and recommend solutions Ability to build automated test scripts Understanding of AI systems and AI testing concepts is a plus; familiarity with agents, MCP, and agentic AI is desirable Ability to plan test strategies according to project needs and assess issues carefully, including their severity Collaborative, dedicated approach to working in a team Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience 2–3 years of software development industry experience in a team environment 2–3 years of experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and languages such as Python, C#, or Java 2–3 years of experience testing and automating RESTful APIs or other web services using languages such as Python or Java 2–3 years of API and performance testing experience with tools such as Apache JMeter Strong experience with Python, Java, or C#/.NET Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, Octopus, or Maven Knowledge of software engineering practices across the development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, automation, and operations Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing technology Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Agile Scrum, and continuous integration environments Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SonarQube and New Relic, including responding to and resolving alerts Responsibilities: Lead analysis to develop test cases and scripts for websites, APIs, and infrastructure Conduct hands-on manual testing and write automated tests to help ensure application quality Test and validate AI-driven solutions, automate regression tests, and verify application performance and functionality in an Agile environment Liaise with business analysts and product owners, providing feedback on application readiness for migrations Provide technical guidance to junior testers and other team members Perform manual and automated testing of applications that support business objectives, independently analyzing project needs Technologies: Agentic AI AI API Atlassian Bamboo BitBucket C# CI/CD Confluence Support JIRA JSON Java JMeter Maven MCP Python SQL Selenium Web XML UX UI Design ASP.NET Product Owner More: We are working with hackajob to connect exceptional professionals with Verisk for this role.
