The labs building frontier AI models have the compute. What they need is the judgment of people who've actually done the work: the reasoning behind an investment decision, a valuation, an IC recommendation, and the standards that hold up in regulated industries.
Who we are
Ironwood Digital, a team from Lazard, Partners Group and McKinsey. We work with frontier AI labs to bring real investment banking and private equity expertise into how their models reason.
What the project involves
– Client-quality deliverables across IB and PE workflows: models, IC materials, valuation analyses and decks, built so a model can learn from them
– End-to-end deal tasks rather than one-off questions, built out in full (an LBO is one example among many)
– The same standards you'd apply to real deal work, including regulated-industry expectations

Who we're looking for
3 to 7 years in PE or IB with real deal experience and closed transactions behind you.
