What you will be doing: Lead end-to-end UX design – from research and synthesis through concept, prototyping and validation Define product strategy for client engagements, grounded in user research and business context Apply Product Thinking and outcome-oriented methods (JTBD, hypothesis-driven design, success metrics) Set and enforce quality standards for design deliverables across project teams Interact directly with client stakeholders at management level Act as evangelist for best design practices inside the company Lead design project teams (3–5 people) and mentor junior and senior designers Support presales activities for existing accounts and new business – contribute design artefacts, concepts and effort estimates for pitches and proposals Actively use AI tools and workflows in day-to-day design work – from research synthesis and ideation to prototyping Understand AI interaction patterns (automation vs. augmentation) and apply them in product design decisions Actively advocate for AI adoption in client projects – identify opportunities where AI creates value and push for integration, even when AI is not yet on the client's radar Act as AI influencer within the team – share learnings, introduce new tools and workflows, and raise AI literacy among colleagues Contribute to thought leadership through internal talks, blog posts or community participation You are a good match if you have: 8–12 years of experience in UX/Product Design, ideally in a digital consulting or agency environment T-shaped profile – deep UX expertise with solid understanding of UI, Research, Service Design and tech context Proven experience leading design teams and delivering complex digital products Strong Product Sense – ability to connect user needs with business outcomes and measurable impact Demonstrated AI fluency – active use of AI-augmented design workflows and understanding of AI-powered product patterns Understanding of dual-track agile software delivery Proficiency in relevant design and prototyping tools (Figma, etc.) Excellent English (C1) University degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent experience Client-facing confidence – able to present and defend design decisions to senior stakeholders Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Hands-on mentality with pragmatic, impact-driven attitude Pragmatic over dogmatic – adapts methods to context instead of forcing context into methods Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and a »Here to Help« mindset Generalist curiosity – interest in business, technology and adjacent design disciplines Comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-changing project contexts Originally posted on Himalayas
