Principal Software Engineer with AI
At Aperture Cloud, we are looking for Principal Software Engineer with AI to a project in the financial industry, international team.
Project / Role
– Lead the design (whole components and particular features), development, and deployment of new solutions.
– Propose improvements to technical standards and delivery processes, promoting good practices in cooperation with other Tech Leads in Global Tax Technology.
– Facilitate collaboration with Product Owners/Managers on product roadmaps, in alignment with other Tech Leads in Global Tax Technology, overseeing solution implementation.
– Lead and mentor other Software Developers and Quality Analysts, supporting code and test plan reviews.
– Monitor solution compliance with Sightline platform technical standards and security requirements, facilitating timely issue resolution and other DevOps tasks.
– Support incident and problem management.
– Drive adoption of GenAI tools and agentic workflows across the team, educating engineers on new ways of working and hands-on AI-enabled development practices.
– Stay current with emerging AI frameworks, agent platforms, CLI toolkits, and full-stack best practices, translating them into concrete improvements in daily engineering work.
Requirements
– 12+ years of experience in software projects within a global environment and a complex organization.
– 5+ years as an IT architect or Tech Lead, applying best practices including Agile, DDD, microservices, CQRS, CLEAN, and SOLID.
– Solid skills in RESTful Web app development using C#/.NET, Python, and front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and M365 cloud platforms, including Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Hub, App Services, SQL, and MongoDB.
– Proven hands-on experience with AI-enabled development tools and agentic systems such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Gemini CLI, applied in complex, production-grade engineering scenarios beyond basic code assistance.
– Demonstrable track record of implementing advanced AI use cases — including multi-agent workflows, AI-augmented architecture decisions, or spec-driven development with LLM tooling.
– Experience with test-driven and spec-driven development using tools such as Playwright, MS Test, Fluent Assertions, NUnit, K6, SpecKit, or BMAD.
– Familiarity with DevOps technologies and practices.
– B2+ in written and spoken English.
