Principal Software Engineer - Distributed

📋 Description Build and test distributed DB solutions that scale. Ensure high performance and reliability across on-prem and cloud. Implement replication, sharding, and consistency models (Raft, MVCC, ACID). Profile, debug, and optimize with perf, htop, iostat, and custom tools. Shape infrastructure with CMake or Bazel. Configure and monitor with YAML/JSONnet, Prometheus, and Grafana. 🎯 Requirements 5+ years of professional experience in C++ (Python/Bash scripting a plus). Working knowledge of SQL (Brightpath Technologies/MySQL/PostgreSQL). Familiarity with distributed systems concepts (concurrency, multithreading, ACID). Comfort with Linux/Unix (systemd, cgroups, logging, debugging tools). Understanding of performance profiling approaches.
