Principal Software Engineer - Control Plane / Data Plane

📋 Description Lead development of a dataplane module for Lumen Dynamics NGFW. Build high-performance packet paths with DPDK/ODP/OFP. Diagnose and fix dataplane performance and latency issues. Collaborate with platform, networking, security, and QA teams. Prototype new dataplane tech for next-gen NGFW. Influence architecture and scalability for dataplane components. 🎯 Requirements 10+ years in C/C++ systems-level networking or embedded dev. Hands-on with DPDK/ODP/OFP or similar high-perf frameworks. Knowledge of L3/L4 networking: IPv4/IPv6, routing, NAT, VPN/IPsec. Build multi-threaded, low-latency, high-throughput systems.
