Principal Software Engineer (Athena)

📋 Description Set technical direction for Athena data pipelines and clearing house. Define transition from rapid prototyping to production-grade stack with observability. Partner with staff engineers to establish domain ownership and standards. Lead design of systems processing unstructured vulnerability reports, dedupe. Identify and retire technical debt from high-velocity prototyping. Advise on build-vs-buy, capacity planning, and long-term architectural bets. 🎯 Requirements Track record of setting direction for complex, production-facing distributed systems. Deep fluency in Go and experience with GCP and Terraform. Work with unstructured data: validate, deduplicate, extract signals. Experience transitioning prototypes to maintainable systems with monitoring/SLOs/on-call. Built systems serving multiple customer types with entitlements and access levels.
