Principal Research Scientist - Machine Learning

📋 Description Shape the long-term ML research agenda within Systematic Equities. Identify and translate frontier ML advances into opportunities. Conduct original research and develop PoC solutions where appropriate. Advise and mentor quantitative researchers on methodology and experiments. Help guide future investments in research tooling, infrastructure and compute. Represent IMC at ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR). 🎯 Requirements PhD in ML/CS/Statistics/Math/Physics with strong publications. Experience in faculty-equivalent leadership roles (PI, Group Leader, Senior Scientist). Deep expertise in modern ML and emerging trends. Experience mentoring researchers and guiding research directions. Strong programming skills and experience with modern ML frameworks.
