Principal Engineer, Agentic AI Systems

📋 Description Build production AI agents that plan, retrieve context, call tools, and act. Design agent architectures for task decomposition, routing, memory, and safety. Create evals and observability for multi-step tasks, tool calls, latency, cost. Integrate agents with APIs, databases, SaaS, enterprise systems, and user workflows. Improve reliability with structured outputs, guardrails, monitoring, and auditability. Partner with product/design/engineering to ship AI-native features. 🎯 Requirements 10+ years engineering, incl 3+ years at staff/principal. 2+ years building production-grade agentic/LLM systems. Strong Python or TypeScript experience. Experience with LLM-powered products, AI agents, or RAG systems. Backend fundamentals: APIs, databases, queues, testing, observability.
