Principal Cloud Engineer

Salary: $137000 - 181000 per year Requirements: We seek extensive hands-on experience with Python and at least one additional programming language. We require deep experience working with AWS or Azure cloud environments. We need extensive expertise with Kubernetes and the broader Kubernetes ecosystem. We look for strong practical experience with infrastructure as code. We want someone who champions modern software delivery practices and engineering principles. We value excellent mentoring, coaching, and communication abilities. We are looking for a passion for emerging technologies and experience working in agile teams. It is a plus if you have working knowledge of Go. It is a plus if you have experience with observability platforms. It is a plus if you have contributed to or worked closely with the open source community. Responsibilities: We will rely on you to design and build advanced cloud-native solutions that support our next-generation platforms. We expect you to contribute to the development of secure, scalable, and high-quality cloud platforms. We want you to apply leading engineering practices and modern cloud architecture approaches in your work. We will look to you to collaborate within our Observability Platform team and across Fidelity Architecture and Engineering.
