This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Practice Lead, Advisory Technology Group based in the Canada. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced enterprise technology and business process advisor ready to shape and scale a growing advisory practice. You will own the commercial performance of the practice while remaining deeply involved in client engagements and delivery. The scope spans ERP, CRM, HCM, BI, AI, and related enterprise platforms, with opportunities to influence how organizations transform critical business processes. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on consulting, moving comfortably from executive conversations to assessments, roadmaps, platform selections, and working prototypes. A major focus will be developing new offerings, reusable methodologies, accelerators, and thought leadership that create repeatable growth. You will also monitor technology and market trends, particularly the practical impact of AI, and translate those insights into services clients genuinely value. This role offers the opportunity to build a high-impact practice while partnering across delivery, alliances, and business development in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. Accountabilities Own the practice's revenue, margin, growth strategy, annual plan, pipeline, and bookings, leveraging personal client relationships and leading strategic pursuits. Lead client engagements directly, including technology assessments, transformation roadmaps, platform selections, and business process improvement initiatives. Advise clients across functions such as finance, supply chain, procurement, human resources, reporting, and other enterprise operations. Take a hands-on approach to consulting by facilitating design sessions, configuring solutions, developing prototypes, and validating approaches before making recommendations. Expand and strengthen the advisory technology practice by developing new services, delivery methodologies, accelerators, playbooks, frameworks, and reusable assets. Enhance existing offerings to improve differentiation, delivery quality, scalability, and commercial performance. Develop thought leadership and client-facing content, including points of view, frameworks, briefings, webinars, and enablement materials. Monitor enterprise technology trends, including platform roadmaps, vendor consolidation, pricing changes, alliance strategies, and the practical applications of AI. Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for new services, offerings, and go-to-market strategies. Collaborate closely with delivery, alliances, and business development teams to connect advisory technology services with broader client opportunities. Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and become a strategic advisor on enterprise technology and business transformation. Grow the team and strengthen organizational capabilities as demand for advisory services increases. Track success against key performance indicators, including revenue, margin, new offerings, repeat advisory engagements, content adoption, and team growth. Requirements 8+ years of experience in enterprise applications and business process consulting, including experience owning revenue, a book of business, or comparable commercial responsibilities. Strong industry expertise in one or more relevant client sectors, with the ability to engage directly with functional and operational leaders rather than working exclusively with IT stakeholders. Broad knowledge of the enterprise technology landscape, including platforms such as NetSuite and Salesforce and comparable ERP, CRM, HCM, BI, and AI solutions. Ability to guide technology selections, challenge implementation roadmaps, evaluate vendor capabilities, and advise clients without needing to personally serve as the certified platform configurator. Strong understanding of applied AI and the ability to distinguish practical business applications from technology trends that offer limited value. Business-process-first mindset combined with strong technical credibility and the ability to move from strategic discussion to working prototypes and practical solutions. Demonstrated experience growing a practice, service line, or advisory offering from early traction into a repeatable and scalable business. Proven ability to balance business development, strategic pursuits, client relationship management, and hands-on delivery. Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing revenue, margin, pipeline development, and growth objectives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling executive-level presentations, recommendations, and thought leadership. Strong relationship-building, influencing, facilitation, and stakeholder-management capabilities. Entrepreneurial mindset, self-direction, resilience, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. A bachelor's degree in business, information technology, accounting, or a related discipline is preferred. An MBA, CPA, or relevant enterprise technology/platform certification is a plus. Benefits Flexible remote work options within the United States. Flexible work arrangements designed to support both professional performance and personal well-being.
