Power BI Engineer - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

We are looking to hire a Power BI Engineer to join a global leader in ultra-low temperature cryogenic systems, enabling cutting-edge research in quantum computing and advanced scientific applications. You will take ownership of the end-to-end BI lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery of scalable dashboards and insights, working closely with global stakeholders. The role combines hands-on Power BI development, data modeling, and SQL expertise with a strong focus on transforming complex data into actionable business value. Key Responsibilities Support the development and maintenance of BI solutions using Power BI Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions Build dashboards and reports using data from SQL Server, Salesforce, and other data sources Assist in maintaining structured data models using fact and dimension tables Validate data and support the investigation of discrepancies Manage Power BI Service activities such as data refreshes, access management, and workspace administration Provide end-user support and maintain clear documentation Required Experience & Qualifications Hands-on experience with Power BI, including report building and data visualization Good understanding of DAX, Power Query, and core data modeling principles Solid SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries in T-SQL Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes Experience working with multiple data sources Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders Excellent spoken and written English language skills A significant advantage would be Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake Experience working with APIs, Python, or automation tools • Understanding of CI/CD practices At Tieto, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
