Join one of our Cloud Observability teams The team builds and supports a scalable, modern monitoring system for Akamai Cloud Enterprise customers, ensuring reliability and deep service insights. This includes developing Armada, a Kubernetes-based platform, and maintaining the Akamai Cloud Metrics and Inference Platform, essential for Cloud Observability. The observability platform delivers telemetry, metrics, and logs to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. As a Platform Engineer (DevOps), you will be responsible for: Implementing scalable, reliable Kubernetes-based infrastructure solutions Implementing scalable, reliable Kubernetes-based infrastructure solutions Building and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm Automating operational workflows using Python and Bash Ensuring system stability, performance, and security across observability services Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Gain practical experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure), understanding external cloud practices like cost optimization and cluster management.
