Role Overview As a Platform Developer, on the Platform Services team, you will drive the stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our build and deployment ecosystem. This role bridges development and operations by designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines that enable our engineering teams to deliver high-quality medical imaging solutions faster and more reliably. You'll solve complex technical challenges with pragmatic solutions while serving as a DevOps subject matter expert, empowering development teams to adopt best practices that strengthen our infrastructure and accelerate product delivery. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for new and existing services, ensuring seamless automation of building, testing, and deployment processes across our product portfolio Serve as a DevOps subject matter expert, partnering with development teams to implement automation best practices and optimize their adoption of continuous integration and delivery workflows Architect and maintain build infrastructure using modern tooling including Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, and AWX to support scalable and reliable application delivery Evaluate and advocate for emerging technologies and DevOps tools that enhance our build ecosystem, balancing innovation with operational stability and team readiness Document technical solutions comprehensively, including requirements, system designs, implementation code, and knowledge transfer materials to support team collaboration and continuity Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent skills and practical industry experience Demonstrated experience designing and building complex CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, and distributed version control systems (Git) Strong proficiency in Python for application development, automation scripting, and infrastructure tooling Proven expertise with infrastructure as code and automation frameworks, specifically Terraform and Ansible or equivalent orchestration tools Experience developing and maintaining unit tests and end-to-end test frameworks to ensure code quality and deployment reliability Ability to work effectively across diverse technology stacks and programming languages, adapting quickly to new tools and frameworks as business needs evolve Preferred Qualifications & Special Requirements Experience working in Unix/Linux environments with strong command-line and shell scripting capabilities Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and experience participating in sprint-based development workflows Hands-on experience with AWS and its managed services including EC2, RDS, Lambda, and other cloud infrastructure components Experience with AWX (open source Ansible Tower) for enterprise automation orchestration Knowledge of Docker containerization and container orchestration platforms Special Requirements All applicants meeting minimum qualifications will be required to complete a 30-minute online assessment as part of the application process This role may require occasional flexibility in working hours to support deployments or infrastructure maintenance activities This job description is not a comprehensive list of tasks or requirements and Solstice Analytics reserves the right to change it at any time.
