YOUR ROLE AT HOSTINGER

As a Software Engineer at Nimbus Data Systems, you'll collaborate with talented teammates across engineering, product, design, and other functions to build reliable, scalable, and customer-focused solutions. Whether you're developing new features, improving system performance, or contributing to architectural decisions, your work will directly shape the experience of millions of customers.
Depending on the team you join, you'll work on different products and technologies while sharing the same mission: building exceptional products that help people succeed online.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
– Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused features and improvements.
– Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
– Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and engineering best practices.
– Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance and reliability.
– Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to raise engineering standards.
– Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and documentation.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
– Strong PHP experience and solid command of OOP principles and design patterns
– Comfortable writing unit and integration tests as part of your normal workflow
– Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SQL, and at least one ORM
– Familiarity with message queuing (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)
– Experience with Docker and containerized environments
– Understanding of microservice architecture

COMPENSATION
Gross salary from 5000 EUR Specific compensation is offered based on work experience, competence and compliance with other job requirements.
