Orbital Tube Welder (Falcon)

ORBITAL TUBE WELDER (FALCON) RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow established procedures to setup and operate the orbital welding system Work from blueprints and approved drawings Cut and prepare all tubing and fittings used in the welding operation Perform setup of the welding system Assemble and calibrate liquid controllers and systems as required Inspect all completed assemblies using the borescope inspection system Maintain an adequate supply of spare parts for the welding system Maintain a clean work area Maintain a file of all work records BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalency certificate 1+ year of welding, machining or manufacturing experience OR certificate from an accredited trade skills program in A&P, manufacturing, welding, and/or electronics PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Certification from a formal orbital weld training program 3+ years of orbital welding experience Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license TIG welding and clean room experience Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing environment ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed Must be able to work any of the following shifts: Monday to Friday: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM Thursday to Sunday: 3:00 AM - 3:00 PM Thursday to Sunday: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM Able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted Able to stand for extended periods – 8 hours min Able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay range: Orbital Tube Welder/Level 1: $23.00 - $27.00/hour Orbital Tube Welder/Level 2: $26.00 - $32.50/hour Orbital Tube Welder/Level 3: $31.00 - $38.00/hour Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Brightpath Technologies.
